Veterinary technician study: More participant slots open

[ad_1]

Researchers conducting an AVMA-funded study into ways to optimize the work of veterinary technicians have agreed to reopen the participation window to allow additional veterinary practices to take part.

Any practice interested in identifying ways to better employ your veterinary technicians’ full skill sets can apply between now and March 15, 2025, to be included in the project.

Each participating practice will receive a study report including recommendations for how to more fully engage its veterinary technicians’ skills and training.

What does participation look like?

Practices that participate have their business manager, veterinarians, and veterinarian technicians complete brief surveys over several months beginning shortly after enrollment. The total time commitment from each employee will be 1-2 hours for the entire project.

Enroll your practice in the study by filling out this survey.  The research is being conducted by experts at Cornell University.
