After a long and well-deserved winter rest, she has finally left the den around beginning of this month. 💤 🐻
Brumca’s appetite has already been great since up from hibernation and is enjoying all the fresh fruit, especially cucumbers, carrots and lettuce.
📍Brumca’s rescue story: After being born in 1992 in a Slovakian zoo, at the age of just a few weeks, she was separated from her mother and sold to business people, who in turn gave them to an Austrian businessman. However, she soon grew and became an uncomfortable burden for her owner.
He locked her in a 35 square meter shed where she was lonely and bored. After a bankruptcy procedure, Brumca was finally rescued by FOUR PAWS and transferred to our BEAR SANCTUARY Arbesbach in 1998. 🌳
